For our second bucket list blog, we’re highlighting one of the most spectacular sights in Sin City. When you hear the name “Las Vegas,” romance probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. However, the famed Fountains of Bellagio, are pure magic, and the perfect background to a fairy tale moment.
Hailed as the most ambitious and one of the most costly water features ever made, the attraction spans over 1,000 feet. With over 1,200 jets and 4,500 lights, the show is a perfectly choreographed dance of water, light, and music. From opera, classical, Broadway, and pop, the fountains soar almost 500 feet into the air against the Vegas sky. The Fountains invited an array of designers, musicians and performance artists who each choreographed the fountains to their choice of different musical selections, resulting in a variety of different offerings available to take in throughout your tenure in the city. Best of all, the shows are completely free for everyone to enjoy.
The shows occur every 30 minutes from 3pm to 8pm Monday through Friday and every 15 minutes from 8pm to midnight. On Sundays you can take in the shows beginning at 11 am every 30 minutes until 7pm when the shows occur every 15 minutes until midnight. On Saturdays and Holidays the shows begin at noon and occur every 30 minutes until 8pm, when they occur every 15 minutes until midnight.
